Dan and Andrew's Song Of The Year: 1901 - Phoenix

NOTES: What a year it was, 'ol 2009! The decade goes out on a pretty good note, thanks to outstanding breakthrough albums from indie vets such as Animal Collective, Phoenix and Dinosaur Jr.; and looks promises thanks to (relatively) newcomers such as the Thermals, the Dirty Projectors and the Rural Alberta Advantage.

Superfan Andrew Peters won the contest from the Beverly Make-A-Wish Foundation to come in and co-host the show today, and even picking the songs in bold. We both agreed on the SOTY, which was pretty cool. Andrew has the gout, so wish him well.
